Today in class we explored claymation. On this website you can make yourself out of clay. I made a normal person and in honor of St. Patrick's Day I made a leprechaun.

Blog Brain Games
Today I went on my classmates blogs and looked at the games they created. If you scroll down on my blog on the right side you can see my classmates blog links. I would recommend Tate's blog or Andrew's blog. Tate's hangman is tough because it is about anything and everything. Andrew's hangman is fun because it is about college basketball teams. I would also say to go to Morgan's for her barnyard word search or Westin's for his scientific hangman. Sydney also has a fun color word search.

Brain Games
Today in class we explored word and brain games. I made three different games. Play my college basketball hangman and my two crosswords. I did all three of these on proprofs. On propfrofs you can make anything from hangman to word searches.

Google Earth and Latitude
Today in class we explored Google Earth and some other Google map applications like Panoramio and Latitude. My favorite application was Latitude. Latitude is an application where if you're an experienced Googler can find your friends. Panoramio however was my least favorite because it didn't really allow you to see what you were looking at you could only see pictures that people had posted of it. In the middle was Google Earth. Google Earth was cool, but I found it hard to use. All in all they were all usable applications. Here is a picture of Google Earth.
We also explored Google Offers the consumer side. This was cool because you could see some cool deals in a big city near you. Unfortunately Google Offers didn't have offers for small towns only big cities. Here is a picture of some Google Offers.

iGoogle
iGoogle is your own personal sight that we explored on Monday. iGoogle is your own personal sight were you can add anything from games, to tips of the day, to even calendars. My favorite gadget that I downloaded was Poke the Penguin. Another few cool gadgets I downloaded were some ESPN news and score gadgets. Some gadgets we had to download for school were the Dictionary, Gmail, and Wikipedia. Another cool thing is that you can get a bookmarks bar. You can easily bookmark you top sites. This gadget can replace Symbaloo. Here is a picture of Poke the Penguin.

Google Maps
On Wednesday our class explored Google Maps. Google Maps are different from regular maps because you can view them on satellite mode, and you can type in directions. The map will tell you how to get to your destination, what forms of transportation you can use, and how long it will take for every mode. I have two pictures of the Willis Tower in Chicago. One of them is in satellite mode and the other in maps mode.
